Organic Uncured Applewood Smoked Ham Product Packaging


  • 3 spring onions chopped (can substitute 1/2 yellow onion)
  • 1.5 lbs. fresh asparagus
  • 1 tbs. olive oil
  • 4 oz. True Story Applewood Smoked Ham
  • 1 lb. pasta of your choice
  • 1 cup of grated Pecorino cheese


  1. Rinse Asparagus and cut into 1/2-inch pieces, discarding the bottoms. Set aside the tips for later.
  2. Chop the ham into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Steam the asparagus until cooked it’s through, but still crisp.
  4. Saute onions until tender. Add the steamed asparagus and cook for five minutes on medium-high heat.
  5. Add asparagus, onions, 1/3 cup of Pecorino cheese, olive oil, and 2 tsp. of Kosher to a food processor. Blend ingredients together until smooth and creamy; return mixture to saucepan.
  6. Cook Pasta until al dente, strain and add to saucepan. Add in the chopped Ham and asparagus tips and mix, adding more olive oil if necessary.
  7. Top with leftover Pecorino cheese and serve.
