Meet the “wagyu of pork”! Kurobuta is heirloom pork selected for its succulent, juicy texture and exquisite flavor that’s slightly sweeter than conventional pork. Also called Berkshire, this breed originated in England over 200 years ago and later became the favorite of the emperor of Japan.

Finely dispersed fat keeps Kurobuta pork juicy, even when cooked at high temperatures, while its higher pH content gives it its rosy color.

Clean vegetarian feed & outdoor access

We feed our pigs a diet of all-natural grains and grasses in addition to what they forage outside.

No antibiotics ever

We never use antibiotics, hormones or growth promotants, just as we never use artificial flavors, nitrites or nitrates, or other preservatives in our products.
