  • 2 True Story Spicy Italian Sausages, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small red pepper, sliced
  • 1 small yellow pepper, sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 4 ounces uncooked pasta of your choice
  • 1 package (10 ounces) fresh spinach, trimmed & coarsely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream


  1. In a large saucepan, add oil and saute onions peppers and garlic over medium heat until onions and peppers are tender.
  2. Add in the sausage, and continue to cook over medium heat until sausage is browned; drain.
  3. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add pasta; cook for 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Gradually add the spinach. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes or until pasta is tender and spinach is wilted.
  6. In a small bowl, combine flour, black pepper and cream until smooth; stir the mix into the pasta skillet.
  7. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened.
  8. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve!
