Ingredients

Quickly make delicious sausage and egg biscuits for a crowd using True Story Organic Chicken Sausage Patties and frozen biscuits.

  • 10 biscuits, sliced in half
  • 1 package True Story Organic Country Morning Herb Chicken Breakfast Sausage Patties
  • 9 eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp creme fraiche
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 20 slices of sharp cheddar cheese
  • Spicy fig jam, to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Prepare the chicken sausage. Heat a sauté pan over medium heat and add True Story Organic Country Morning Herb Chicken Breakfast Sausage Patties, cooking for 5-6 minutes on each side until browned. Remove to a plate.
  3. Prepare the scrambled eggs. Whisk the eggs in a large bowl. In the same pan in which you cooked the sausage, add the butter, then cook the eggs for 4-5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and mix in the creme fraiche, chives, salt, and pepper.
  4. On a baking sheet, arrange the bottom halves of the biscuits. Spread each biscuit with spicy fig jam.
  5. Layer half the slices of cheese over the biscuits. Then, layer on the sausages, the scrambled eggs, and another slice of cheese. Add the tops of the biscuits on.
  6. Bake for 5 or so minutes, until cheese is nice and melty. Enjoy!
