What does “humanely raised” mean?

We believe deeply in raising animals with care and respect, helping create a sustainable food system and livelihood for generations of farmers to come.

Our Certified Organic chicken and turkey all have access to the outdoors. Our pasture-raised beef comes from cattle that roam massive pasturelands.

All of our pork comes from hogs that are Prop12 compliant, with roomy indoor spaces and outdoor access. The hogs are free to forage and root, and enjoy enrichment materials such as straw and hay.

All our animals are third party certified for animal welfare.
