Looking for a fun and fancy Halloween snack? These prosciutto mummies are easy to make and guaranteed to please. Made with mozzarella, prosciutto, and crescent dough, what’s not to like?
2 sheets crescent roll dough
5 mozzarella sticks
5 slices True Story Heritage Breed Prosciutto
1 egg
Candy eyes for decorating
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375F.
Unroll the first sheet of crescent roll dough and slice into five pieces.
Cover each mozzarella stick with one slice Heritage Breed Prosciutto.
Roll each mozzarella stick with crescent roll dough.
Slice thin slices of the second crescent roll dough and roll them in the covered mozzarella stick to create the mummy effect. Place them onto a baking tray.
Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.
Whisk egg with 1 tablespoon of water to make egg wash. Brush each mummy.
