Ingredients

Full of color and fresh flavor, this poke bowl uses True Story Protein Toppers and an irresistible homemade honey ginger soy dressing. Recipe by Rob and Haley Wall of @walleats.

  • 1 package True Story Oven Roasted Protein Toppers
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 1 large carrot, sliced
  • 1 cup red cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 cup edamame
  • 1 cup pineapple, chopped
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 3-4 slices avocado

Garnish: chopped green onion, chopped cilantro, sesame seeds

Honey Ginger Soy Dressing ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp tamari sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seed oil
  • 1/4 tsp ginger, freshly grated

*double recipe for additional sauce to drizzle over bowl!

Directions

  1. To make Honey Ginger Soy Dressing, combine honey, tamari sauce, rice vinegar, toasted sesame seed oil and ginger to a small bowl and mix well. Allow sauce to sit while periodically mixing for at least 15 minutes for flavors to come together.
  2. Add True Story Oven Roasted Protein Toppers to a small bowl along with the Honey Ginger Soy Dressing and mix well.
  3. Assemble bowl with jasmine rice, carrot, red cabbage, edamame, pineapple, cucumber, avocado, and True Story Protein Toppers.
  4. Garnish with green onion, cilantro and sesame seeds.
  5. Optional: drizzle additional Honey Ginger Soy Dressing.
