Meaty Stromboli

Our double-meat stromboli recipe, with True Story Organic Pepperoni and Organic Salame, is quick and easy. It's perfect for a mid-week meal the whole family will love.


Makes 6 servings

  • 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough (found in the deli section of any grocery store)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 10 slices Italian salame
  • 18 slices pepperoni
  • 1¼ cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh chopped basil (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Roll the dough out and stretch it out on a piece of parchment paper. Spread the pizza sauce up to about two inches from the edge. Top with Italian salame, pepperoni, and 1 cup cheese.
  3. Roll up the dough and pinch the edges to seal and fold the seam. Lay the stromboli seam-side down. Brush with the egg and cut small slats in the top. Top with ¼ cup cheese and sprinkle with fresh basil.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  5. Serve with warm pizza sauce or ranch dressing.
